SCM wins "Company of the Year" Award
The Edmonton Economic Development Corporation awarded SCM Insurance Services.
and CEO Larry Shumka 'Company of the Year' at the annual luncheon on April 20th.
In recognition of its CEO's vision, relentless drive to build a winning business, find
balance in life and give back to his community SCM Insurance Services (formerly The
Shumka Group) and Larry Shumka is being honoured with the award for Best Company
of the Year.

SCM Announces Corporate Rebranding
At the CRIMS insurance industry conference on Sunday, The Shumka Group
unveiled new corporate identities for itself and its three operating companies, SCM Adjusters
Canada Ltd., Forensic Investigations Canada (FIC), and Risk Management Services (RMS),
to reflect its position as Canada’s leading provider of insurance claims management services.
Two new company names were also announced: the parent company, previously known as
The Shumka Group, will now be known as SCM Insurance Services (SCM), while the operating
company, SCM Adjusters Canada Ltd., will become ClaimsPro (IndemniPro in Quebec).
The names of the other two operating entities, FIC and RMS, remain unchanged. (See diagram of new corporate structure by clicking
